Website & App Design: service outline

This is a service outline. Your accepted written quote and agreement define actual work, schedule, payment and delivery. Sending a brief does not place an order.

Concepts

After a fit and capacity review, a suitable project may receive one round of up to five homepage or key-screen mockup images without a build deposit. These are visual directions, not working sites. Additional rounds or screens require agreement. Use rights are defined in the project agreement.

Scope

Launch: one page, up to seven sections. Business: up to five pages and one existing booking/payment tool integration. Both include two consolidated revision rounds within the chosen direction. New features or a changed direction require a written change quote.

Payment

Prices are Canadian dollars before applicable tax. 50% is due after scope acceptance; the balance is due after approval and before launch or handover. Separate invoices handle payment; this page takes no deposit or card details. Cancellation and reconciliation of earned/unearned fees are defined in the project agreement.

Costs and rights

Domain registration, paid software, processing charges and custom app hosting are additional unless included in the quote. Clients provide or license supplied assets. Third-party software, fonts, stock and generated media retain applicable licence conditions.

Handover and care

Agreed custom files/content are handed over after final payment. Domains and booking/payment accounts should be client-owned. Optional care is monthly, starts at launch and can be cancelled with 30 days’ notice. Included edit time does not roll over. New pages, redesigns, app operations and emergency support are separately scoped.

Results and timing

The commitment is to agreed deliverables, not sales, visitors or rankings. Timing is agreed after assets and requirements are understood. Missing content, feedback and external approvals can affect it.
